Pre-Primary, Primary

Nova Pioneer South Africa
Paulshof Pre-Primary & Primary

Established in 2018, we provide education from Tots (age 2 turning 3) to Grade 7. Our innovative approach to the Cambridge International Curriculum will redefine what's possible for your child.

Classes are hands-on, interactive, and student-centred, which means that the teacher guides the student to discover solutions themselves, rather than simply telling a student how to solve the problem. No two days are ever the same at our Paulshof campus and each day ignites a spark in students to explore their passions and curiosities. We focus on the whole child, believing in their inherent potential as people to be unfolded, not moulded. We are excited to walk the journey of learning and growing with you and your child!

Striving for Excellence

We are preparing our students for success and building lifelong critical thinkers.

01

Academic Success

We provide our students rigorous and exciting school experiences that help them build important critical thinking skills and the ability to innovate. Our teachers are committed to helping students gain confidence in their abilities so they can grow up to shape the world, not just work in it. We have a strong academic reputation, shown by our excellent Cambridge International Checkpoint results.

02

Student Voice

We are a school that focuses on students and their learning needs and our classroom norms make sure that students feel valued and heard. We understand that every student is unique, with their own ways of learning and special talents. We consider these differences when planning our lessons. We also believe in working closely with students, encouraging them to reflect and give feedback during lessons.

03

Beyond The Classroom Opportunities

We believe that sports, co-curricular, and extra-curricular activities can positively affect students' focus, attitude, and academic success. We offer various clubs and activities, including sports, and provide opportunities for students to compete locally and against other Nova Pioneer schools.

At Nova Pioneer, we offer a range of activities that help students develop important skills and interests. These include Physical Education by professional coaches, Entrepreneurship Day, Inter-Nova sports competitions, community service projects, and various interest clubs.

04

Culture First

The character of a Novaneer is defined by our six Culture Principles - High Expectations, Always Growing, Servant Leadership, Joy of Learning, Greater Together and Solutions First. These are the mindsets and behaviours that reflect our values, and to which we aspire. They challenge our students to constantly stretch towards their best selves: to set high expectations, grow from every challenge, and seek to serve others over ourselves.

By exploring culture and integrating it as part of character development, our students take on daily challenges with a strong sense of purpose, service and innovation. Read more about our Culture Principles
